But before proceeding with the fixes, I would recommend that you should try restarting your device.

QUICK FIX – If you have issues with the Discord app, then try using discord web on any of your browsers.

 

FIX 1 – Turn Off Discord Attenuation

Attenuation is a discord voice & video feature that lowers the volume of other applications when someone is speaking.

In the first step, you must check Discord attenuation and disable it by moving the slider to 0.

  • Open Discord and click on the settings gear icon to open discord user settings.

     

  • From the left-hand menu, click on Voice & Video and scroll down to the Attenuation section.

FIX 3 – Disable Windows Exclusive Mode

  • Now here you will see Exclusive mode, uncheck the box “Allow the application to take exclusive control of this device”.

  • Choose “Search Automatically Search for drivers” and this will update the drivers if available.


Now if this shows, already updated then you can also try updating try Realtek driver manually from the official website.

The major cause of Discord’s lowering volume is Discord attenuation which is only for PC.

Android & iPhone Discord doesn’t have an attenuation feature so far, so why is it lowering down app or game volume?

There is no perfect solution for this but you can try a few below fixes.

  • Restart your mobile and then launch Discord again.

     

  • Try to use your headphone directly through the AUX, instead of Bluetooth.

     

  • You can also try turning On/Off “Enable Mobile Voice Overlay”.
