Quick FIX 1 – Change Server Region
As long as your internet connection is working properly you must check your selected server region.
Most of the time when you start the game your region gets auto-selected and probably your friend has a different region selected.
Once you click on the server region on the right hand, you will see two different server regions for the US, Europe, and Asia.
So if your friend server region is selected to the United States 2 and yours on United States 1 then you may have an error while joining the lobby.
Now the solution is that you both need to be on the same server. If your friend region is selected to the United States 1 then you must also select the same region.
Once done try again to join the lobby and your problem of Ghost watchers error joining the lobby will be fixed.

OTHER FIXES
If you even have issues while connecting to your friends and joining the lobby then try the below fixes.
- Try removing symbols like #, *, or $ from your nickname, and then try again.
- Check Ghost Watchers server status on downdetector.
- Update Ghost Watchers
- Update Network Adapters
